Default Egt committed suicide

Just wanted to share my experience with my EGT. Alot of people wonder if the probe should be installed before or after the turbo. I had it at the collector before my turbo on a Lovefab GT1. Here is a good reason why you should consider putting it in after the turbo.

Man that's gotta suck. Any benefit to having it before the turbo?

At the turbine outlet it will read around 200F lower than at the inlet but it isn't worth the trouble. It still reads temp changes just as quickly.

What sort of temps will cause damage you think, I'm SC but EGT's are still a concern (not as much as turbo) but still.
