WOW, that is by far the best looking Turbo kit I have ever seen. That is amazing.

We're actually finalizing the airbox design. We like the airbox, but we might have to go to tubing and place the filter in the corner near the headlight, like Comptech, but we can also use the current airbox instead of the tubing and still put the filter behind the headlight area.

I appreciate the support, we're almost done. We are expecting the first casting from the various foundries in a couple of weeks. At that point we will test the parts on a customers car and make final adjustments to the drawings if needed. Production should follow shortly in hopes of having complete systems for sale by late January to mid February...just in time for your tax returns

cheers

don't go back to the tubing style. That red box you have just sets the whole thing off. Please keep that in the final build.

Also, if you need an my04 to play with, let me know.

Perhaps a dumb question, but realistically, if one were to install such a turbo, what other mods woudl be necessary? Do most folks expect or already have larger than stock wheels? Brakes or pad upgrades? Bracing? What else do you really need, that is not for show?

Just trying to figure the real cost of the upgrade!

Thanks.

You really dont need anything else from a functional stand point. Everything else is up to you for show. This kit is all go. (I have driven it )

You might need larger fuel injectors but I doubt you'll need any internal work unless you crank the PSI.

Not so fast. At this point he is working with larger injectors. If they make the kit in the end, they will be added to the kit. So again, you should need to buy nothing to install and use this kit.

What about the clutch? Need an upgrade, or would you just do the turbo and upgrade when the OEM clutch burns out? 16 stock wheels and S02s?

Thanks for the replies!!

This is my personal take. I will replace the clutch, flywheel and pressure plate when I install mine. (Note: When not if ) but then again, my OEM has 53k no it.
it is my understanding that the clutch is the weakest point in the drive line and rightly so. It is a ware item and designed to be replaced. If it was never to slip, then the weak point moves to the diff or axles. But the OEM clutch is a very good design. Several of the aftermarket clutches are reworked OEM clutches. I personally would change the pressure plate and keep the OEM clutch (Hardtopguy offers this as a package).

There is really not a better set of tires for the S for sticky then the S02s and you can only get them on the 16" stock wheels. Now I have 17" and Wael had 18" (I think they are 18"s) but I installed my wheels long before (20k miles back) so it really has no bearing on this.

Again, these are my opinions and not gospel

Makes sense. I have heard the clutch is weakest and I assume it is probably best to keep it that way. I will have to ask Wael at some point about diffs, and other things.

We still do not have real dyno results yet? This could really turn a very fun and fast car into someting crazy.

Thanks, again.
