Default electronic cutout

i have a greddy turbo s2k dynoed at 285whp on a dynomax. my mods are the following.

greddy turbo kit with test pipe, and the medallion touring exhaust.

i would like to know if it would be beneficial to get a electronic cutout, how much p would i gain from it, where to get it from, and does it get rid of the test pipe?

Yes,you would probably see some gains, make sure you take the appropriate steps to prevent creep though

you will creep with that setup first of all, but if it somehow doesn't, you will have to retune for the ECO, or you will run very lean.

Basically it's an electronic butterfly valve that sits between the downpipe and exhaust. When "closed" the exhaust gas flows normally, out the tailpipe of the exhaust. When "open" the exhaust gas is rerouted right out the downpipe, bypassing the exhaust, for an ultra free flowing "exhaust." This is also called a dump tube. With the greddy kit, you are asking for serious headaches.

this is the cutout that he's referring to. or at least an example of it. It pretty dumps it directly into the atmosphere under the car, instead of going through the piping to the muffler(s) of the car.
