Default Emissions?

How do you people who live states that require emission testing get you cars pasted with a FI setup on them? when you run a aem you loose your obd2 so they can not plug into it.

Thank God for "undocumented workers" running the inspection shops in...

Oh, I'll never tell.

Wait, even if you WANTED to pay to get it to pass, how would you? I've had several people tell me they could do it for money but once I tell them that my car is OBDII they say that they can't do it. I thought you could only get it to pass if it uses the sniffer test...

I'm registering my car in a county where there are no emissions soon. I have a friend that lives in Athens Ga (where UGA is) and apparantly they don't have to get it done.

I'm still curious about how someone can pay when the OBDII is plugged into the car and reads the vin.

1) Have a friend that works at emissions.
2) Register the car in a non emissions county.
3) Return the car to stock.

Run a piggy back such as the AEM FIC or Emanage. The vortech, comptech and greddy kits will keep you passing fine. Otherwise you have to return it to stock to pass every year.
