Mike always built the engines even when his father was alive. Earl was a very good friend of mine. He has a living legend in the So-Cal Drag scene. Also, he was one of the most genuine and sincere people I have come across in this industry. Mike is carrying the torch and building bad a$$ engines everyday.

If you want boost with a built motor and you want it to last, give the man a call between 12-3PM PST.

4 months is not typical. You might see that at the peak of pre-race season. Everyone once their stuff done yesterday. It just doesn't always work out that way.

FYI, it takes 6-8 weeks for the sleeves. CP Pistons can take 4-6 weeks.
Sometimes the sleeving process is faster, it just depends oh how Dan is feeling. Typically that is the hold up. Mike works quickly, that's why it's best to call him during his DCH (designated calling hours). Otherwise he is not working on engines to answer calls.

FYI, I have a few core blocks at Laskey. In both sleeved and unsleeved condition. It will save you time if you are in a rush.

Email me for details.

Phil, can I ask what you'll pay for the whole shipping process? Usually for us non US this is the main cost factor.

Thanks,

Andreas

Hi guys, glad you all have taken interest in us building your engines. I do appreciate all the motors and customers that have had us do work in the past and the kind words about us! Time lines on engines can be hard to tell sometimes. Like Asura said, we have all intensions on having the fastest turn around time we can with out sacrificing quality. I would rather have you guys upset at me for a week because of the extra time it took but happy for the next years to come that the engine works great for you. We will never cut corners to save on time! I would suggest buying a block for your daily drivers. Then like others have said, you can swap that block in and sell your core and recoup the cash. I do sometimes have cores in stock to work from as well as Asura on here. We have been working on him trying to stock s2k cores sleeved and non sleeved to aid in the build process. But all that being said, thanks for the loyal support and letting us build you that dream engine!
