Check all fittings and lines for anything thats not normal

I had an idea about that bolt last night. Bare with me it's weird.

Take a cheap box end wrench, the size of the fitting, and cut it in half. Bend it right at the box to a 90deg angle. Slip it over the hose , handle facing down, and slide it out of the way while you tighten the fitting down. Once it's tight you just slide the wrench onto the fitting and it tucks between the turbine and the compressor locking the nut in place. Ghetto, but cheap and effective I think.

I ran my kit for weeks, and it blew the feed on the dyno of all places. Murphey at work.

haha thats interesting sgtb....haha. I can see how it would work since it wont allow the nut to spin back the other way. I dunno with a topmount that might look kinda silly. lol

yep mine are aluminum GT restrictors bought from ATP turbo. This oil fitting is now stripping out again since its aluminum and the threads get effed so easily. Where did you find the fittings you now use? Thanks!
yes mine were the exact same, the threads stripped

i had to go to a garrett turbo specialist here in the uk, to get them to make me the correct size restrictor out of steel but that was no hassles and the steel couplings i got from a normal hose and fittings store. they are still made by earl fittings

I say have a Fire extinguisher in the cabin (underneath pax feet) and have it routed by a hose of some sort to the "problem areas" just in case something goes wrong and you see fire, you can "blow the bottle", usually when you have a fire under the hood and you open it, that influx of fresh Oxygen makes a big problem huge.
