Default Equal Length Manifold

I am posting for my friend billy cracked his custom manifold and is looking for a replacement Equal Length...His other manifold spooled the turbo very quickly i believe 3,200RPM he has 9 PSI...Does anyone sell EQ length manifolds or is there any other manifolds that will spool his turbo that fast? He doesn`t want to spend more then 800 he said unless it has a warranty on it...He needs one really bad his car is not drivable right now so he has a rental...Thanks

Umm...what turbo does he have? It's more than likely his turbo that spools up fast and not a tubular manifold that's doing it.

turbo sizing has about 99% effect on spooltime

Keep in mind that if your friend changes his manifold out for a different design then he will also need a new downpipe since it will position the turbo in a different spot. Asfaras equal length manifolds go, LoveFab and Full Race come to mind. I know that Cody at LoveFab places a lifetime warranty on his manifolds, but I can't speak for Full Race, i'm not sure.

new downpipe, and intercooler piping from the side that's coming off the turbo. It wont be cheap or quick.

He is running a GT 28 ball Bearing Turbo by HKS....He was going to have it rewelded but he doesn`t want to have it crack again....He really wants a good quality piece with a warranty...I know he is making good Torque numbers...I believe 318 RWT and about 370RWHP..And the PSI is 11 not 9 like i stated...He wants everything to basicly remain the same power wise...I am sure he will have another downpipe made he said that might be an issue....Another fabricator quoted him 120 for the DP and 50 more to bend more pipping for the IC....Thanks for all the info also is the EQ Mani that Lovefab sells for the S2000? I was reading it and it said something about making power on a civic motor so it kind of threw me off a bit....I just want to make sure before I tell him the results I got...Because there is a sidewinder manifold also....

Yes, LoveFab makes the "sidewinder" manifold for the S2000.

Are you sure that your friend is making 318tq and not 218tq? If he is making 318tq I would keep that manifold!

Yeah he recorded 318 RWT...To date I have never seen a s2000 with tq that close to HP I know he was running race gas at the time of the dyno...his tunner said it was all about the turbo size and a equal manifold to get those torque numbers......
