Default Exedy Twin Carbon Clutch

Hello,

Ok until now I really haven't seen any issues with the clutch. There was some slippage in the original dyno tune but I thought nothing of it till I went back to have to lean out the car due to technical issues. Now it is bad slippage. Now I know a couple other that have pm'd me (won't name names don't ask please. If they want they can chime in.) So has anyone else had issues?

chris you should consider a comp clutch..we are running a stage 5 clutch and flywheel in zacks car,the pedal feels stock but its a little grabby when it engages..i like it though

I might be considering something like that. I will see what Russ at Exedy is going to say later next week. Thanks for the info.

Have you heated it up??

Mine will slip (twin carbon) when i first drive the car above 3.5-4K. You just have to make it slip on purpose until it actually heats up. Then it grabs like a champ. It's a great clutch if you don't mind the racecar noises from the gearbox.

I heated the crap out of it. Way more than they say spec wise. My plan is to get back with Russ but first things first I need to get the motor back to health and try again. Sometimes things just don't work out and need another more scientific try.
