Default exhaust cut-out

So instead of getting an exhaust I'm just going to get an electric cut-out just wanting to know what you guys are running and where you got them from thanks

I hated the ones I had they always broke. So I made my own with a throttle body and an old cruise control box from an integra (electric one, not vaccuum powered). Much stronger and more reliable.

Do you have a write up or a how-to on that? ^^

I've heard of doing it this way but have never seen it done my self. I too have been debating running a cut out when the time comes for boost.

i have a qtp cutout also, i've had it for a couple of months now, no issues yet. However I'd like to see the integra throttle body, that is pretty innovative. I've installed an ebay one from x02 racing on one of my customers cars. And believe it or not, it's still working after a couple of months of constant use.

Wow I never thought of using a old throttle body as a cutout. You could use a ford mustang throttle body, they are bored to 75mm. that would be perfect.

thats pretty cool setup.

off topic, sad that 18t with a disco potato turbo can only muster 237whp that thing needs way more boost and a tune.
