Default exhaust cutout fitment?

I am pondering on the idea of replacing my 3" asura exhaust with my stock catback exhaust WHILE keeping the 2.75" berk catalytic converter. Has anyone fitted a cutout before the catalytic converter? If so, were there any clearance issues? i have a mase kit btw. I would like to get the 2.5" cutout from dmh like this one http://www.bmotorsports.com/shop/product_i...roducts_id/1480. I am wondering if I can cut the mase kit's lower downpipe and install this in place of it.

Except find it for sale as a single, unless you know someone that will split the cost with you. These are usually marketed to the american muscle dual exhaust big heavy cast iron V8 crowd.

i have it just like that stock exhaust/mufflers, and 3 inch cutout
excuse the bad drawing, used in another post, but this is the general idea

the cat converter would bolt up, but there is not going to be much room to align the y-pipe to cat piping connection.

don't get the quicktime. Hearing it from others that they leaked and also having one leak myself, I wouldn't recommend them I had their round ones though, so not sure if their oval ones are the same

can anyone post pics or a good description of where you installed the cutout? I am thinking about installing one right before the catalytic converter using the oval "low profile" e-cutout, but not sure if it will rub anything or close the ground clearance since I am dropped about 1.5".
