What materials are used to make the Full Race manifolds? The Full Blown sidewinder is made of schedule40, iirc. Pretty sure Mase is made from schedule10.

Is 40 or 10 better?

Does the material get thicker as the number drops or increases?

The material (wall thickness) increases as the schedule number increases.

1. What kind of manifold is it -inlinepro stage 2, latest revision
2. How long did you have it before it cracked - 3 years, 30k+ miles, no cracks ( bought used, so total mileage is more)
3. Where did it crack - no cracks
4. Why do you think it cracked - no cracks
5. What did you do to fix it and/or was it covered under warranty - no cracks
6. Possible picture of it cracked - no cracks

This is why I went with the Full-Race sidewinder twin scroll this time around even though my LoveFab never really cracked after 7 years and about 5000 miles.

I have a lot to say on the subject but I'm waiting until I have some more data to back up my conjecture and ideas, which I will then post in my build thread and cross reference back here.

I will say this though - threads like these are only as useful as the honesty that goes into them. Hopefully we can get some solid information from sellers like Full-Race, Kings, Full Blown, PTuning, TrackForged etc that actually build these manifolds and why they think certain materials, welding techniques, combinations of parts etc cause failures.

Hopefully.

I bought a Greddy kit off another member and the Exhaust manifold was cracked right down the center, he got it welded back up and I machined everything down flat, I'm about to install it in my S2...hope all goes well!
