Default exhaust manifold cracked

I have a 2006 ap2 with the greddy turbo kit installed as it comes from the box, my exhaust manifold is starting to crack, what would be best replacement that dosent cost a fortune, greddy wants 350$ for a replacement. What flange style is the turbo end of that manifold?? Thanks!!

Pfab makes exactly what you need, but from the sounds of your post, you're probably not going to like the price

http://www.pfabrications.com/inc/sdetail/2040

But to be honest, if you can't afford, nor want too drop 400 on a manifold for your car, it doesn't belong turbo'd in the first place....just my 2 cents

Some of these guys drop upwards of 1500 on a manifold alone, for such a crucial part of the build, do it some justice.

If you are going to get a replacement manifold, you should get the pfab over another greddy manifold. It seems like a majority of greddy kit owners have had this issue.
The website says there is an external wastegate option available- you could always get that and have the internal wastegate welded shut on the greddy turbo. But then again that will cost more money.

It happens to most the Greddy kits, however the PFab is the only other bolt on alternative and is some of the best quality you can get.

Very common issue unfortunately.

f@#king Greddy...I emailed them this week and the price they gave me was $500 lol. $350 is very reasonable, but just be prepared for it to crack again.

I went through 2 cracked Greddy manifolds on my last setup. They are known to crack, and welding it will only hold you off for a bit.

Your best bet is to fix it all together, and even though you don't like the price, the Pfab replacement manifold is your best bet.

I believe the manifold has a T25 flange with no wastegate flange, however, pangs replacement manifold has an option to do a 38mm external wastegate. That's a huge plus, so the 400 bucks is well worth it for peace of mind that you won't have any more cracking issues with the manifold.

The only things with the Pfab is, you have to re-tune after replacement, wait approx. a month for him to make the manifold, and I'm not sure if you can pass inspection/smog or w/e. Someone with experience will have to chime in on that.

I haven't had any problems with my old manifold, but after reading so many stories i bought a PFAB one just in case. When i test fitted my Pfab manifold it ran find without a retune. I would've gotten a retune anyways to try to make more power but I'm planning to sell the car.

For inspection/smog, i was planning to either just try to wing it with the Pfab or worst case just switch it back with the greddy.

I have a Pfab manifold for sale right now. no need for the month down time for him to build it for you.
