I put the one muffler in the middle section. I just finished tweaking it out yesterday. I got it to almost sound like v8s grumble until about 5k, and then after that it is an aggressive sound. At idle it sounds sooo good.

I have a Borla 3" race muffler (12" long) in the center section of my Monte and my S2000. they make GREAT center mufflers. In the rear of the S2000, I have dual 3" Megan racing mufflers (cheap, but the exhaust sounds great). In the rear of the Monte, I have dual 2.5" Magnaflow's. Personally, I HIGHLY recommend running 3 mufflers and using a 3" Borla race muffler on the center section.
