If i remember your previous thread the shop your going to deals with mostly domestic cars right? I would find a tuner with more experience tuning imports. Anyways Vtec needs to be set around 4000 to smooth out the dip your getting. Ill take a look at the map later to see if anythings looks way off.

Good memory. I finally did find a Honda guy in town. His experience my not be too deep on the F engines, but most everything he does is Hondas. The dude is like an encyclopedia on Honda. When I picked up the S, another guy was dropping off his 10 second Civic. He definitely know his stuff, but maybe not so much with the S in particular, I dunno...

If you get a chance to take a look, I certainly would appreciate it.

At this point it sounds like may be an Evan E-tune may be in order. Regarding your vtec dip. Your tuner should of tuned the low cam only, then the high cam only. You over lay the two maps/dynos and look for the "intersecting" point. That's usually where you can put the *new* vtec crossover point. It usually ends up around 4k rpm.

I have a Dip in mine as well, in roughtly the same spot. Stock Cat/Stock Exhaust, vtec set at 3800 (when positive pressure is seen).

My buddy removed his stock cat for HFC and no more dip.
