Extrude Honing OEM manifold

Back when I was in the ford crowd running an SVT contour engine in my cougar. It was popular to do extrude honing to the SVT intake manifold to give it a bump in airflow. Up to 44% increases were seen over the oem non-svt manifold.
Has anyone looked into or done this process to the S2000's intake manifold? It would allow increasing the inner diameter of the intake manifold and also debur any imperfections inside.
The target being opening up the intake manifold and TB for an FI application.
What are your thoughts S2Ki?

1. Good ported/polished head with larger exhaust valves
2. Larger throttle body + modify the TB attachment on the intake manifold
3. Free-flowing exhaust
Since the intake manifold itself is not the weak link (unlike many fords
) extrude hone may not be much bang for the buck
It would make sense to me to upgrade to a larger TB but why attach it to the OEM manifold? The Extrude Hone process does undeed increase inner diameter.
I'd love to do headwork but the idea with doing to the EH is that its a simple bolt on swap in order to gain air volume into the engine.
