Nice work, but I'm just not getting one thing. Why didn't you just use a bend instead of "pie slicing" like kane said?

he probably didnt have a bender to use on the pipe, even though you did pie slice it, the beads on it are very nice and it should be just as effective...keep up the good work.

My guess would be that he bought pre-mandrel bent sections for everything he's done. The beads aren't really impacting the flow as the fact that the distance and angles from pie slicing are dramatically different per section which affects flow.

Nice welds though. I especially love the snake-skin method

Thanks for the compliements. I did the pie cuts because i didn't have any mandrel bends with a tight enough radius. Each angle on the pie-cuts are near identical, maybe a couple milimeters in difference at the most
