Default fair price for my car?

probably shouldn't have towed my car down to Evans to get cage installed if I go through with it (selling) but I have been thinking about selling my car if I could get enough money for it. the problem is the amount of molestation over the years, etc.

basically the car makes 600hp, has a hard top in mint condition and mint condition work Kai wheels with brand new tires. i love the car, and enjoy driving it, however I don't drive it really and could put the money towards something I have always wanted

A 1940s Piper J-3 Cub, the ultimate low and slow, "doors" open airplane. this would be the ultimate airplane to fly down to the beach house, take the family up for a Saturday morning flight to grab breakfast etc. I could pick up one of these for $30-40k, (the beefed up "super cubs" though insanely awesome and the equivalent of 600hp S are well over $100k,

anyway, what do you guys think I could get for my car?, $15-20k? I haven't seen to many complete turbo car sales on here, mostly part outs.

motor has 112,000 miles, I also just got the R200 installed yesterday

MODS. I don't know if this type of thread is a no no, if so, I apologize

Screw that, buy microsoft flight sim X and a decent computer if you want to fly that...

but seriously, I could see you getting about $14k-$15k for it realisticly. As long as you aren't trying to get like the people in the "cars for sale" section that are trying to get upwards of $40k for them , I think you can sell it.

You may be able to get more if you just part it out, it will obviously take longer, but it's hard to sell a car that you put together the way YOU want it, you know?

Yea, I wouldn't let it go for 13, I just spent 4k on it this month, lol. FML

But I agree about the prices, someone was selling a GPW supercharged one for a rediculous price

Yeah, I bumpped that figure up a little, I'd say 14-15 now. I changed my post maybe before you saw it. It's so much harder to sell a modded car unless the right person wants it. And that 4k you'll never get back... I'm so scared to start my build later this year. Damn money pits.

And yeah, that GPW... the guy wants 52k for it. It's a steal of a deal though man!

Lol 13k is a lowball offer. Your car is over the 100k mile mark but still. I would not take anything less than 16500 at least. Specially with that new diff in there.

Part out would be the most financially beneficial, but I wouldn't sell it. You will miss it as soon as you sell it, especially if the only other car you're driving is a Sonata. Why not save up and buy the plane while keeping the S?
