Ok guys I'm trying to find out on the cars that are in the 9's which ones are FULL WEIGHT? Like my car is full weight no weight reduction and still factory options ac, ps, pw, pl... every option the car came with from the factory.

How much weight could you really lose on this car? If you are running 9's wouldnt you have a roll cage, so some things would have to be removed / plus then the weight of the cage would balance out what you removed etc? Also every xxx lbs is good for what .xx off the 1/4?

The general rule of thumb is .1 for every 100lbs.

I don't actually, so my 1st to 2nd is what's killing me? I went to 8600 in 1st and just 8300 in 2nd. ( according to my datalog) To be honest, Im not sure where my redline is even set. I should get a shift light

Any recommendations?, also with a shift light, do you set it at the exact RPM where the limit is, or a few hundred before the cut so you don't hit it?

My ignition cut is set at 8,600, and fuel cut is 8,700. What should I set the shift light to?
