Default FB dual hanger install help!

So i finally got around to making my fuel lines, got a 100micron fuel filter and got my FB dual hanger installed.. I used the fittings that came with the kit:

^^2 of these go on top, one for the return and one for feed. and then from those is one of these:

and then from that to the -8 and -6 AN fittings and lines.

My problem is that the 90* fitting shown the the first picture for the -8 will not screw down all the way to make a seal and still face in a direction that I am able to attach my -8 hose line.

I am using 90* -8 and -6 an fitting attached to the end of the hoses.

Did everyone else who has a FB kit use the supplied fittings? anyone know the thread type they used on the tops of the hanger? im guessing ntp.

they should fit perfect, i actually didnt use these but i wish i did, i used this http://www.jegs.com/i/Russell/799/660863/10002/-1, but i was stupid bc u cant screw in 2 of these with out them hitting each other, so i used one of those on the 3/8 -8 feed, and the brass fitting with on the 1/4 return, i used fuel grade yellow teflon, but if i could do it again i woiuld buy what i suggested in my first post, makes it way easier
