Thanks LJ I hope I get a chance to work on the car this weekend. Our boat arrived from the states and I have been doing some mods to that and unfortunately the car has been neglected for the past 2 weeks

Ok problems as usual I'm sick of this car seriously. Guys my car started ran fine only problem is the fuel level isnt working.. I have no idea why. The green wire was connected to yellow/black on harness. The other remaining black wire I have no idea where to connect it to. And also is it normal for the wires to be heating up? The power and grounds were getting very warm

Manny, it should connect to ground which is the smaller black wire on the oem connector. Are you running relays with the pump or are you running both pumps on the same wire?

1 fused 8ga from battery split into 2 12ga wires for power. I'm running 2 30amp relays. So the black wire same length as the green one should be grounded? Is that for the fuel sender?

Correct, the sender is only 2 wires, yell/blk and BLK.

Off the top of my head the Stock harness had 4 wires ylw/grn, ylw/blk, blk/silver x 2. Do I use one of the black and silver connections as a ground or do I use a ground on the chassis in the trunk? I'm referring to the short black wire that was with the green wire used for the float.

Also should the wires be getting hot? They weren't very hot u could touch them but then again the car was not running for more than 10 min.

No, hot wires are bad. Do you use an extra relay for the pumps? Always good to do that, both for wire health and performance.
I have a big mama relay connected to the battery, ready for a bunch of new pumps.
