Default FB dual pump help

I'm having a little bit of difficulty installing my dual pump hanger. The level for the fuel level unit seems like it keeps hitting the side of the tank. I just want to make sure that I am doing everything correct as I'm a noob with this stuff. I am sure it is the level because I took off the pumps and it still does it when I put the hanger back in.

Is the fuel level arm supposed to go towards the drivers side, passenger side, etc?

I compared how I have mine to Spoolin's from this link
https://www.s2ki.com/forums/index.php?showt...post&p=18388337
and noticed that I have mine a little different. I didn't cut down the fuel hose from the pump to the top like he did. My pumps stick down a little further past the hanger. Should I cut mine down like his?

Heres how far mine goes down. (I know the socks aren't on)

Heres how far his goes down.

I had to shorten the hose so I could mount the pump higher. The bolt pattern for the hanger to mount on the tank was wrong and my fuel level sensor was hitting also. For the sensor problem, looking at it with the level sensor facing you. I moved it to the right, opposite direction of the arm, as far as I could. You may also need a new seal between the hanger and the tank, I did. Ohh and my fuel level arm is towards the front of the car.

Okay. Thanks for the help.

EDIT: The information in this post below here is incorrect. I was wrong when I originally posted this.

I noticed that my bolt pattern doesn't line up either so thats what really confused me. I thought I was going crazy. Not really happy about that, but I'm so used to being dissapointed with stuff going wrong and not working lately that I'm not even mad.

I'm really interested in knowing why the holes did not line up. I am looking at this kit, but I wanted it to be relatively bolt-on. Is it made specifically for AP1's or only for AP2's? Have you contacted FB and asked about the hole patterns? Maybe FB can chime in here.

I messaged Full Blown and received a response.

The fuel leveling bracket that we supply should be on the passenger side of the vehicle.

I didnt shorten my hoses that connect to the pumps. Those are the lengths I got and its where it positioned my pump depth. Also, the Full Blown etching on the top will read towards the drivers side of the car when the hanger is put in correctly if I remember right.
