Also, the Full Blown etching on the top will read towards the drivers side of the car when the hanger is put in correctly if I remember right.
This is the best/easiest information that I have received. I must have been trying to put it in backwards because now the holes line up perfectly and I don't feel the level arm hitting anything. Now the trick is to take it out, put the fuel socks back on and put it back in. I think I will order a new gasket/big o-ring for under the hanger mount too to be safe.

Thanks for your help man. I should quit assuming the worst with everything.

Glad you got it figured out now.

Regarding the bolt pattern being wrong on mine. I tried rotating the hanger and no orientation worked so i just drilled new holes. And i have a 07 DBW, not sure if the bolt pattern is different. After the few problems i had i figured i may have gotten the hanger for another car by accident.

Glad to help man and glad it fixed it.

With the sock filters on, its a little tricky to get into the tank but if you just finnagle it around a bit, it will go right in. I had to lean the hanger in a way that I could get the fuel level float in and then I ever so easily let the socks hit the edge of the hole and bend up a bit as I guided everything in and it dropped right in. i did mine from the trunk just so you know too.

We have sold and installed this kit in many cars. The bolt pattern should be right if you have it position correctly.
