Default FBM 290lph Fuel Pump/ID1000cc Injectors

Is it possible to reach 600whp with a single 290lph pump and ID 1000cc injectors? TIA
**edit**
I'll be using c16 fwiw

I'm not considering running VP MS109 (unleaded); I'm able to get it locally.

No I don't think so. You are going to need to step up that fuel pressure in the 55-60psi range and that pump isn't going to hang. 340 at least. Maybe even a 400.

With a Kenne Bell boost a pump it is def possible. I made 600+ with more to go on ID1000s, and a.Walbro 255lph, on Q 16 which requires a 5-10% more fuel then non oxygnated fuels

I made 501whp with stock fuel pressure with id 1000's and a walbro 255hp and my injector duty cycle was at 98% with e85. At stock fuel pressure id 1000's are good to about 600whp on gas and 500 on e85. a walbro 255 is good for about the same amount. so you should be fine. St the minimum make sure the fuel pump is rewired for power straight from the battery with 12 gauge wire and a relay. To be safe I would just get a adjustable fuel pressure regulator and up the base pressure a few psi higher than stock to keep the injector duty cycle below 90%.

Keep in mind the compression ratio of the motor makes a noticeable difference. I've got a few friends running built 9:1 comp motors with Id1000 and just over 500whp is the max they could get with a 340pump and higher fuel pressures. Lower comp motors aren’t as efficient. I don’t know if the OP is running stock motor or not. I should have noted in last post.

Good info in here. It would also be nice to know the limit with a fb340 id1000s with stock lines on a 2000-2005 with stock engines...

Hmm....if onpy someone knew...haha

The answers to these questions depends on your definition of "limit". To some people, its when the tune is deemed "unsafe" because it has paramaters above what's regurgitated on the internet. To others, its when the motor blows up on a long high boost pull. Even another definition might be where the motor stops making power at a certain RPM/boost level. What does "limit" mean to you?

It means when you reach the rated limit of the products your using deemed by the manufacture, whether that be your fuel pump, injectors or whatever. If you’re interested in running outside of that range and feel you have a better grasp on what the real world limits are then that’s on the individual. But to recommend that on a forum and call it something else, I find a bit careless. To say the manufacture is 100% right is also misleading, so we should also go off our experiences as well, whether they were positive or not and determine what’s reasonable.
