FBM Battery Cut off Switch

Would this setup work on my Evo? My trunk key hole has been shaved, but I was thinking of having it mounted where my rear license plate is.

Unfortunately, yes unless you run a wire straight to the battery. Also, don't forget that you still have the push button inside the car to open the trunk.

Very nice! I'm interested....

But, are there different keys and locks for each switch?

I would hate to have someone w/ the same setup use thier key and break into my trunk and cut off my power and who knows what would happen...

There are a few different variation of the key.

However, it's not legal for NHRA.

8:4 Master Cutoff (General Regulations)
Keyed Switches Prohibited.

I talked to the guys at NHRA Div 5 before we made this. I was told as long as it locks and stays in place while you are using it, it is ok. I'm assuming you cannot have a keyed switch and leave the key on your key chain.
