This is awesome!
But i don't like the fact that you need to kill the power before opening the trunk with the key. That way you lose the radio presets everytime you want to open the trunk? ( if you are not using the button between the seats )

Or am i missing something?

I would be al over this if you could open the trunk with the key, and not disconnect the power! Could you reverse it so that left is power ON, all the way left is open trunk and right is power off?

I'm not a track guy so i don't need it for the track but i could see this as a fantastic anti-theft tool!

nevertheless, fantastic product FBM!

Were these ever put into production? Do they include the alternator/starter kill circuits as well?

Jaundice, the solenoid would be placed in series with the alternator/starter circuits (with the keyed switch controlling the solenoid). Thus, when the keyed switch is in the off position, all circuits are cut.
