Just spoke with Tony Fuchs and it looks like I'll be needing a new set of retainers and some new rocker arms as well.

My question - is there much downside to buying used rocker arms in good condition as opposed to new ones? Will rocker arms go bad after a certain amount of miles?

And also, what would be the advantages of going with titanium retainers from Alaniz as opposed to stock? I'm trying to get my hands on some Alaniz retainers but they'll take a week or so.

And lastly, who makes a good 9 lb pulley for the Vortech unit? Any suggestions on where to pick one up? Thanks

 

Call ASP in Texas for the pulley. Great design, quality and fit.

Used rockers should be ok and Alaniz retainers are the correct item to use.
