Ok guys prob been a few dozen post about this, but none that i can honestly say have been a diffinetive answer.

My S will be turbo'd soon enough, but my stock diff and rear end has done 124k, and from what mase (the tuner) is hoping to get out of my laskey built engine and gt35r, maybe my stock wont be strong enough.

any ideas, anybody done a conversion, clues and advice would be greatly recieved

cheers phil

R200 rear diff. inline pro has a new kit out, and from what I understand that about as bullet proof as you can get

Inline Pro Diff Conversion.

That pretty much will make your rear end as bullet-proof as possible! Custom Driveshaftshop Driveshaft, Custom Driveshaftshop 1000hp Axles, New Hubs with Extended Studs, and all Bracketry to mount a 300ZX Non-Turbo Differential.

Also, see that you'll be doing your tuning with Mase. Very nice choice After some issues with my local tuner I was setting up to have him redo mine, however the car was sold before he could. I've only heard the best things about his work!

That's not a bad price. More than I can afford, but it's the cost of two diffs basically.

Or,Depending on your driving style maybe you dont need a Diff?
Thats the biggest part in the Formula...

The longevity of your differential truly depends on your driving style. If you are a more conservative driver - there is a chance that your stock differential will work fine. There are many individuals in the forced induction forum that have been using their factory differential problem free.

Something gives me the feeling though that... based on a Laskey Racing Build, Inline Pro Turbo Kit with GT35R Turbo, and a Mase Tune you aren't planning on being very conservative with this car. I am taking that this car will probably see the drag strip occasionally as well as be driven rather hard on the street.

If my assumptions are correct, you will want to go with the Inline Pro Conversion. However, if I am wrong and you have no intention to ever drag race your vehicle ... you should be okay with your stock setup.
