Thumbs up FI tuning

After FI the S2000 and you did the initial tuning, do any of you have to to keep taking it in to get it tuned? Like as if its almost a maintenance thing.
I'm just curious because I plan on FI my car this summer.
thanks

Once you get it tuned the only time you have to retune it is if you change something. Like if you go from stock exhaust to a larger diameter one for example. But other than adding more mods, there should be no reason for a retune.

What type of 'tuning' needs to be done after installing the SC? I thought it was a bolt in and go thing.

one thing you have to remember is weather changes. cold start in the winter if it was tuned in the summer, tuner can only geuss fuel req.ect but these are just little touch ups not tunes like whaen changing parts out

A supercharger kit right out of the box is a bolt on and go affair. He is talking about those who have actual programmable engine management hardware.

I was thinking of tuning the car for under 60 degrees, then running water injection once it goes above 60.

Why would you do that? The intake air temps will almost always be over 60 degrees even if it's not 60 outside. A better thing to do would be to have water injection switch on when it actually makes boost and off when it's not.
