Ok I finally got around to installing my AutoMeter Cobalt Wideband this morning what AFR's am I looking for at Idle, WOT, and with my METH?

$270 for the guage on e-Bay and $35 for the welding.

 

OK at idle it will fluctuate between 14.5 and 15.3 ish (Always trying to find the elusive 14.7)
At WOT it should be around 12.0

What are you seeing?

Also I think the meth will make your car run richer..

higher numbers mean leaner ratios. 14.7 is the magic stoich number that the car will strive for when you are idling or just putting around town (out of boost).

expect the number to decrease rapidly as you build boost and get the throttle closer to the floor.

depending on how your car was tuned you might see anywhere from 11.50s up to 12.50s under WOT. expect this number to dive down a bit as you get closer to redline.

remember - lower is richer (safer!) and higher is leaner. if you are at WOT and you see a 14.0 pop up, i suggest getting off the gas asap!

 

Ok at idle, 14.7-15.0 Driving around normal right around 14.7

WOT, No meth initially drops to around high 12's went up to around 15.0 near redline I backed off knowing that was too lean



Meth on 10.5 to 11.1 at redline

Edited thread forgot to turn METH on , now its a nice safe 11.1

Ok METH on When I go WOT 10.5 up to 11.1 at redline

This mid 14's WOT makes sense no meth becuase it was my original tune, but now with a much more free-flowing BERK HFC


How you guys let me go this long with out a Wideband


I am very happy, nothing like goign WOT and having the piece of mind to know you AFRS are safe

 

you are missing power.

tuning to mid 10's is VERY conservative.

get that shit retuned

 

the 14th Re-tuning for METH

 

Yeah I am tuned at mid 10's too, but I lean up to low 13's past 7K. After I put the Invidia Q300 on, I am going in for another tune. Trying to start off at low 11's and topping out at upper 12's. That seems to be the best.
