How close is the turbo to the hood? I seen many hoods burn up in the past

wire tuck is in the cards for sure, when i go tubular i am gonna move the fusebox for sure. You guys and your wiretucks inspired me...haha. As far as how close the turbo is to the hood and other components I can say it clears the hood easily and I have a turbine blanket on the turbine housing to keep some heat down. I wrapped everything as you all can see so i dont expect shit to melt at all actually, lol.

i wanted a topmount so yes its close to some stuff, i took the necessary procedures to make sure stuff doesnt melt. Not to be a dick, but i would rather have the turbo near a fusebox than have a fuel pump in an area where it can start a fire in a wreck.

your comment about the fuel pump is kind of an un educated comment, it shows how un educated the beginging tuner really is.

domestics have been running the same pump on their back bumpers for years and years. my car is not a daily driver and will prob see the streets for maybe 1000 miles a year.
thanx for being so concerned about my project good thing the titles in my name though right?

now understandable about your manifold choice. my concerns would be if something does go wrong you have alot of vital components on that side of the car. it would be a shame if the car caught fire or something happ.

just some CC thats all take it how you want

yea sorry i really didnt mean anything by it. I think the fusebox will be fine, ill be keeping a close eye on it. I wouldnt call myself a beginner since i have owned a turbo car for 5 years now (not a honda). either way, sorry if my comment seemed like a cheap shot, it wasnt meant that way.

car made 371.5whp and 249ft/lb on 7psi creeping to 9psi by 7000rpm today. I was suprised it made that much power honestly. It hits full boost at 3800rpm and the torque is very flat. Ill have a graph up later on for you guys.
