I had 2 bolts completely back out of the turbo manifold tonight. I am going to go with the stage 8 bolts with the locking ring on top.

i had the same problem. i used loctite and that helped a lot.

yeah, i was also thinking of having the bolts tack welded but not sure if ill try that yet. At least its easy enough to remove so it wont take too long.

i will, the sheet is at a friends house...left it there on accident. I realized why my bolts backed out, they were metric grade 8.8....yea no good for turbo to manifold bolts. will fix that tonight!

summit racing turbine wrap kit. you basically cut it to fit and loop metal wire through both sides to keep it attached.

i dunno the total cost, turbo kit + everything else + tune it was prolly in the 9k range honestly. If you use all good parts and do it right its not cheap. The actual kit isnt too bad but its all the other stuff ie ( clutch, wideband, aem, injectors, pump etc ).

i have a stock tranny and diff, hoping to not blow the diff for a while. we will see.
