Fire Bottle into the engine bay
So much like airplanes I am going to set up something to where if there is a fire in the engine bay I can blow a bottle from inside the car to the general area of the Manifold/Turbo/Oil lines.
I will have the battery and fuse box relocated so I will plum some type of tubing from the passenger side footwell (where the bottle is installed) to where the fuse box would be, so if I start so smoke, While I am in the process of pulling over I can blow the bottle and attempt to put the fire out.
I think this is a much better idea then just relying on popping the hood, (introducing fresh air to a fire), granted I will still do that however this seems like it is a good idea for that initial fire.
It really is just a matter of plumbing and finding a bottle that is under enough pressure to push the contents of the bottle through any bends on out the other end.
I will keep you guys updated but this is something I am going to try and do, and I can test by just putting a sealed bag at the end of the bottle's plumbing
Any thoughts suggestions?

Race cars have this systems installed in them. You can buy them from summit and jegs with bottle, mount, lines nozzles, etc included.
I think they start at about $300 last time I checked.
One example of many
