I was looking into this as well. I'd ideally like one of those fire suppression systems like:

I want something that'll save the tons of money I put into this car.

i figure being able to spray the fire with something is better than swatting the fire with your shirt or just standing there helpless.

On a related note: Where would be the best place to mount a small extinguisher? In the trunk or in the cabin?

I'll be definitely getting one if I ever go turbo.
Where is the best location to mount one?
What about the passenger side foot well? too ghey?
It sure is the easiest place to reach for one in an emergency.

Ideally it would be within arms reach for easy access but if you car isn't a stripped track car it gets sort of invasive. Next best would be the trunk if you were fast enough to get it out of there and use it in case of an emergency.

I've been thinking of getting one since my turbo went in. I'll probably mount it under the passenger seat with some velcro

This is my MR2 after the engine bay fire a few years back. The problem with the s2000 is the small cockpit. I havent seen a good spot to have one that wont get in the way. I guess i'll be forced to leave it in the trunk...
