Cool First day with turbo!

I LOVE IT!!!
Just like all of you said I would. And for the sake of the clutch im at about 5psi which is making right around 300hp. The car made 322hp at 7psi.

I do however have some issues with my tune. There is a noticable "divot" around 2500-3000 rpm. Which is bad since that's where my rpms are when I'm driving conservatively around town. unless I go wide open on it it will shake and heave. Makes me look like I can't operate the clutch even though my foot isn't on the clutch.

I'm running e-manage ultimate and I had the most BASIC of instruction on tunng it. I'm still a bit afraid to touch it. Plus I don't have a laptop handy. My mechanic is going to take it back next week to look at a few more things for me and I'll have him tune with me in the car.

Any ideas on how I could positively affect this?

Also. I through a CEL on the way home last night. I got it read and it was too rich in cyl 1. Is this the end of the world and how do I remedy this in the tune?

I feel that with a bit more tuning these issues will go away and I can get all over my car. It is unreal!!!

did you do any fuel mods ? or anything else than just bolt on the turbo ? .... running rich when you are on FI sounds kinda weird since you should run leaner under boost

running rich is good for the engine, keeps the temp down more gas cools the cylinder. I like your experiment with emanage, piggy bag has its advantages, but most turbo are on aem ems. Possibly can pass emission with piggy bag.

Fuel mods are AEM fuel pressure reg, rc 750cc injectors, and walbro 255lph fuel pump,

so if its rich, and there is a TON of gas in there, I'll be okay with the CEL, I want to start leaning it out and getting it into a sweet spot, but better safe than sorry to begin with

Make sure you get it looked at though. Running too rich for extended periods can be just as destructive as running lean. What happens is unburnt gas gets on your cylinder walls and 'dries' the oil there, interfering with the lubrication system.
