First drive of Full-Race S2000
I have been asked many times if I have driven the car yet. Well I got my chance. It was just after SEMA 05' and Geoff lets me know the car is leaving the show and will be back at the hotel in just a bit. So I rush down to meet up and take the keys. The first impression was awesome. I start it up and pull out of the parking lot onto the strip (VEGAS!!!). The car drove through the first parts of traffic (stop and go) better than when it was stock. I then proceeded to in and out of boost every chance I got for about 2 hours, up and down the strip, back and forth over the freeway. I then returned the car for its drive back to Pheonix for some other little goodies. I got to say that the car is better than I expected based on all the horror stories of turboed cars first impressions, but my first impression was spectacular. The OS GIKEN 1.5 way (I had Science of Speed do some rearend work. 1.5 way O.S. and a comptech diff.) sounded mean and the wastegate was just a terror.
So I got to say that the Full-Race crew has lived up to their name in craftmanship and Jeff Evans is by far the best tuner that ever layed his hands on the automobile.
If you ever are in the area and need some rearend work done Science of Speed did a great job and when you consider the conditions I was driving in it all went just perfect.
