Default first initial startup check engine light and oil pressure light

So i started up my car yesterday for the first time in 3 weeks after building it. Finally got it running and i even put a new tct in while i was in there. The new TCT has like arrhythmia and ticks for a second here and there and stops ticking then ticks so i'm going to pull this one out and reinstall my old one. Now there is no oil leaks anywhere at all on the car i checked over and over again but no leaks which is a good thing haha... but the one issue that i'm having is that the oil pressure light is on. I have a greddy emanage ultimate and i put the base map of the greddy ap1 kit on there. I also have the boomsling harness h8 to plug it in. Now i've read up on it a bit and saw that the vtec (blue wire) for the harness could trip a cel, but i didn't want to drive it and damage anything just in case. So i'm going to rent a flat bed and have it trailered to my tuner and hopefully he can figure out whats wrong with it. It might be something simple, but i don't know what it is at the moment and don't want to risk anything. Engine oil level is fine too. Has around 5.3 qts in it to compensate for the oil filter relocation kit.

input would be greatly appreciated thanks

I take it that you did not prime the oil system and you ran the turbo while dry?

Or you disconnected the oil pressure sensor wire from the philips head screw and didn't put it back on.

What did you build exactly? Take apart the motor? Did you prime the motor before starting?

check your oil filter relocation kit hose connection they might be hooked up wrong. small ticking may be oil starvation.

Got any pics of your setup? Did you have to relocate any of the OEM stuff as part of the install, like the VTEC solenoid or other sensors? I agree with the other suggestions above.

Smart idea not driving it until you know what's up.

I agree, your oil relocation lines could very well be reversed. This happened to me since there is no distinguishing them and my oil light came on, 50/50 if you get it right the first time, try swapping the lines and see what happens. I bet your oil light go's away.

well i did prime the turbo by pulling the fuse lol... and i felt oil going through the filter kit so i kinda figured i did hook up the oil filter relocation kitup right. i didn't relocate the vtec solenoid at all... and i plugged it all back together fine from my understanding... only thing relocated is the fuse box is clocked a bit and my battery is covered with heat tape as long with some of the lines that i thought might melt as a safety precaution.

UPDATE i was driving the car and it kinda died on me going 45mph so i just had it towed to my friends shop where its getting tuned at. Better to spend 100 bucks towing it and having him fix the little stuff than spend 3000 bucks on a new motor. I'm going later tonight to check up on it. It cranks, but it doesn't start. I think the base tune that i loaded up onto my emu flooded my engine out... i didn't want it to run lean so i tuned it so it rana bit richer so it wouldnt detonate.

I wasn't really driving driving it i wanted to see what my a/f looked like and its around 14.7 with spikes up to 15.8 at times and never dips down past 13.4. i only ever gave it 30% at most and thats being lenient i think maybe 25% throttle.

As for the TCT i just sand blasted the worm gear and the inner part of the piston and the ticking sound virtually went away completely. last time i did the tct fix i guess i didn't hit it enough with the sand blaster.

and no i don't have an oil pressure gauge in my car... i hate gauges lol.... only thing i have in my car right now is the aem tru boost and aem uego wideband...
