first start up with no tune.. yay or nay?

Default first start up with no tune.. yay or nay?

hey whats up guys.. im planning on starting up my car this weekend..its the first time the motor is being turned over since i installed the the turbo kit.. only problem is that i was yet to buy upgraded fuel injecters or my aem : (.. so just wondering would i be hurting my motor in any way by starting it up and letting it sit on idel?? im not planning on driving the car at all... just want to start it up to look for any leaks etc... thanks in adv

As long as you hold true to your word and dont get tempted to rev the crap out of it or drive it, then no you wont hurt anything by just starting and checking for leaks

you can start your car up and drive it around your neighborhood if you want. as long as you arent going over 4k rpms, and you are keeping your vac away from boost, you can drive it to make sure all is well.

you dont need to prime the turbo. by the time oil pressure builds up the turbo should see oil almost instantly. its not like the turbo starts spinning very fast as soon as the motor starts

Better to find out about leaks at home, than at the shop & waste dyno time. Just dont boost.
