Default Fitting Aeromotive 340 11142

Hi just bought this pump, its come with a small fitting kit consisting of little wire harness, tubing, foam sort of caddy and suction filter.

How do i briefly install it, as the socks looks different and shouldn't it just connect to the stock plug? and what about the tubing and suction filter?

Whats the foam caddy thing for does that go around the pump or something?

Thanks

It's a plug and play unit. Just about all kits comes with extras. Sometimes the plugs may mess up when you try to dissconnect it. Also, the foam piece was designed to fit over the pump if you could get it over it. Tight fitment. It's an easy install.

Just remove your OEM setup and install. You'll figure it out. It's very straight forward.

You can use the stock harness (it's the same fitting). Use the new sock filter and rubber hose. Make sure the sock filter does not catch the fuel level float and has full freedom of movement.

I just reused all the stock stuff and only swapped over the pump itself.

Does anyone know if the 11142 model still needs to have its polarity switched? Or is it directly plug and play?
Thanks

It no longer needs to be switched. I just bought one and put it in within the last month -- 100% PNP
