Default FMIC "Issue" (Comptech SC)

so with the stock boost pulley and fmic, i was only getting 2 psi; lol. i knew it would be bad, but i wasn't expecting that. either way, i need an attack plan to get my power back. should i just get id 1000's and the smallest pulley i can find, then blow it out? anything else i should know or look for before i start looking for parts? thanks a lot, guys.

Yeah, you should look for the cause of your problem before trying to fix it.

Is the belt slipping? Is boost leaking? Is the FMIC just too damn big? Or is the piping too convoluted?

biggest culprit, i believe, is piping length.

Fmic is the problem. You always loose boost if you have FMIC which you can compensate with smaller pulleys. I have 2 of them in the for sale section if you are intrested in

What kind of intercooler are you running? Do you have pics of your piping?

Just get the smallest pulley and injectors, or go back to stock and keep it at 5.5 non-aftercooled. My intercooler gave me a total of 3.5 psi and then my 3.875 pulley gave me 5.5 with the intercooler.

I agree a side from what i said earlier also check to see if your system is producing ample boost and is without discrepency.
