I have recieved mine already. I have yet to install it, but it upon close inspection, the craftsmanship is very good.

I observed the same thing you did...the Vortech blower sits just a bit further back, so the UR kit (unmodified) would *probably* not match up to the blower. So I'm thinking you'd have two options:

A) Have the UR piping extended with extra tubing.

or

B) Use a silicone coupler to bridge the gap between the Vortech blower and the UR piping.
I'm glad someone else noticed the same thing as me. I have a feeling option A is the way to go in order to get this kit to work with the vortech unless Ultimate Racing comes out with a vortech version of this kit (hint hint).

I am trying to decide if I should get the UR FMIC or a normal aftercooler for my non-AC comptech, but I'm really curious how its working out for people.

How much boost are you loosing?, is my biggest question.

Also I'm assuming that some tuning will be required from the UR piece.

I have a 3.2 inch pulley sitting here so I don't have to worry about how much boost I will loose with the FMIC but rather how much I will be pushing even with it.
