Fuel pump install
Since 99% of you have done this for your turbo or SC, where can I find info on the procedure to do this. I know, I know, the service manual. Where else?
Um, the service manual on CD?
Even the Comptech SC instructions say refer to manual.
The proceedure is pretty simple. Start with 10 years of yoga training...
Seriously.
Relieve fuel pressure (pull ignition fuse and turn over engine)
Remove back panel above rear parcel shelf.
Remove parcel shelf
Remove access panel
Disconnect lines to pump
Undo 8 bolts and remove assembly
Disassemble and swap pump.
Reassemble in reverse order.
But I'd still invest in the manual before doing it. Also, I recently discovered that it is easier to remove the tray out through the trunk.
