This particular FPR is just in/out only, it doesn't have a bottom port. Fuelab 54501.

Wow Kyle good to hear you got it sorted. WTH is that plastic part for with the o-ring? It leads to a filter..? It's positioned well below the fuel feed line that exits the pump..?

I bought a used '05 pump carrier for my car (switched from a dbw carrier for the return system), so fortunately never came across this issue. Talk about a pita but I just looked at an old picture of my fuel pump assembly before install and I remember wondering WTH it's for as well but never touched it. I know on older hondas the carriers never had this piece. Strange but good to hear you figure it out! Too much fuel is a much easier problem to solve.
