The 2JZ can be a monster. Its quite a bit of fab work to get it in, but it doesnt take much work to make power(but parts are expensive).

Stick with the F20C. What happend when your motor let go? Not a lot of people blow their engines here. Just curious...sorry to hear.

stick with your motor.. it would cost 3 times as much just to get the 2jz in to the car and to make the same power

wow, so you werent making a power pull or anything. Just basically low rpm and then BOOM...thats odd. I really wonder what went. here I was thinking that you were hammering on her and she let go at the top of 6th gear or something

Go back with another F20C though, the 2jz is neat but the f20 is SO CAPABLE. People are making 400-500-600-700 hp on stock block!!

Id stick with the f20c, Ive personally seen Jeremy at inline pro build an engine Not start to finish but a good portion and it is unreal how clean and anal he is. I am going to have them build me a shortblock as soon as i can afford it. Inlinepro has such a good reputation on this forum for a reason.

here is a question, laskey dose not have any f22 blocks
if i go full built, i want a 2.2. can a 2.2 crank fit a f20 block?

Just a suggestion. Haven't heard why people don't use them but ERL Performance builds some nice motors and is usually price competitive.

Long story short, I recently removed my f20 as it was done. I decided to go with an F22 swap. Glad I did, its just a better motor overall. Definitely felt the added trq and power at the same boost.
