summation so far,

2 routes you could decide. copper or platinum/Iridium.

copper: NGK 7173 for 1 step colder, 7405 for 2 step colder. you will need to change often.

platinum/Iridium: IK24 for 1 step colder, IK27 for 2 step colder. there were part number for NGK as well but I don't remember as I DO NOT favor the idea. longetivity has not been confirmed. expensive. few people reported problem including myself.

you'll have to make your own choice. I made my choice to go with 7173 and change it every other oil change. btw, RED still runs great and no 8000 rpm hiccup. I think fuel consumption has improved as well. I'll report more about it later dates.
