The Stock TB and manifold is the choke point on this platform, not the head. Even N/A on a F22 can expect 5-6whp and much better throttle response.

Just to put things in perspective regarding the head flow.

We make over 1400hp on stock ports so it's definitely not going to be a limitation.

My thought exactly. Honda knew what they were doing when they designed this head.

My previous post was over a year old (Nov 2015)....since then I have scrapped the 4Piston $2500 head and am running a stock ported head as well and have a much improved powerband.
