For the most part all Garrett turbos carry a 1 year warranty from date of purchase. Do not take the turbo apart or the warranty is automatically voided. Call the distributor your bought it from, and ask them to help you with the process.

The warranty process is long, cumbersome, and most likely they will tell you it was installation era. Believe me I have had it out with Garrett reps quite a few times.

Without a proper restrictor installed? I wouldn't bet on it.

You'd have better luck trying to get the guy from AFI in trouble, and maybe they would do something for you like a discount or something... but I wouldn't bet on that either..

No, installation error. Your best bet is to do the CHRA exchange program.

I second this. This is your best option as of now.

+3. Additionally, I'd suggest going through ATP Turbo. I called almost everyone on the list and they seemed to be the best. Best price and they didn't care who or where I got it from as long as the core wasn't completley destroyed.

I believe a tiny bit of shaft play is normal for a BB turbo. Do you have an oil pressure restrictor on yours? If not, get one ASAP.

No I don't, Before I ordered it p tuning said a restrictor is not needed for these turbos
