The best place I have seen is where the interior lights are above the windsheild. I looked for a link but could not find one with pics.

Here is my solution, but I only needed one guage

That was the old Tru-boost, it really sucked as a gauge so I only had it visible to change the settings and for the scramble feature. I perefere to data log if I want to see anything like that, you get a better picture of what is acturally going on. For me all I need is a gas gauge, spedo and tach that is it. If I were to add another it would be tire pressure, then coolant, oil pressure, oil temperature, voltage....... All I really need is a warning light which I had set up in the Truboost with an audio and visual indicator. The serial gauge will be used in the same manor so there is no reason to mount it anywhere that is visable to anyone else but me. If I still had OBD compliance I would buy the Greddy Infometer and mount it where the dome light is.

Try the Dome light, it is some much nicer and not in your line of vision.

And to replace the overhead light... LEDs in the footwells...

The Passport 8500 is underneath the gauges, mounted to the OEM rearview... Its been replaced with a rearview camera.

All custom work...

I get you on the A-pillar gauge placement, however, if you only have one gauge, these look very clean.

There is a pic floating around of a very clean install. This member was able to tuck the a/f gauge behind the radio control knob on the left hand side. Looks stock! If I find the pic I will post it for you.

I'm planning on getting rid of all of them and just using an aem serial gauge.
