There you are, I looked for ever
Thanks for the compliments. It took a little while to get it right, but it looks like I imagined when it started... I did not want the SOS pods, as I had already invested in the custom molding of the tweeters... Was not going to lose that. I also thought the dome light was retarded, and you could NEVER see up under the dash when it was activated...

The gauge location is PERFECT. In the upper peripheral vision at all times. The radar detector is in just about the best position possible for forward-detecting purpose...

It began as a VAFCII mount when I was N/A.... I had to run a custom rearview mirror for that, but the ange was actually much better than OEM (which is a bit "down" from my driving position).

Here are a few more shots from slightly different angles...

Just whoring some pics out, as the car is for sale.

There is a pic floating around of a very clean install. This member was able to tuck the a/f gauge behind the radio control knob on the left hand side. Looks stock! If I find the pic I will post it for you.
This one?

That is the one that got me to put mine in a similar location, I just did not like the idea of fiber glass and spray painting so I widened the hole for the mode button and shoved it in there.

wow thats pretty sick, can you remake that top part ?
Didn't make it myself... It cost ~$200 to get molded from a fellow s2ki.com member (Darkknight1999).

I can remake the LED harness for about $80 if interested... ($50 is just LEDs, which are already pre-resisted for a 12v system, and are local).

not the best pics, but i mounted my gauges as far back as possible on the dash. The inspection sticker completely covers them from the front and you can't see them when coming up on me. Very sleeper!
