Default Getting AEM Serial gauge to read boost in psi....

I know it's been asked before but nothing really very helpful. Has anyone had success in getting the gauge to read boost in psi instead of Kpa. Screenshots or a step by step would be very helpful. I'm trying to see if I'm getting the full 12 psi from my supercharger... Thanks in advanced.

I did not find a great answer when I made this happen years ago so I manually converted the kpa to psi and entered the values in the serial gauge program for the appropriate voltage.

Change the units in your aem ems software. Then psi will show psi and not kpa on serial gauge.

Even though ur ems will say psi change to kpa hit apply then psi and apply. Should fix it.

Just tried this and it did not work. Under options, there isn't a "units". Under "Configure" there is a tab says "Units..." then it goes to "Unit Preferences" which lets me choose "Load Units" There I tried changing from PSI to KPA, hit "apply",then back to PSI, hit "apply" and save. Then I reconnected the serial gauge and started the car. The gauge is still reading in Kpa.

Very weird. Lemme check again. I thougt that gauge just shows what aem sends it.

It's under the "PEA" which is what I believe the tuner stated was boost. But it starts at 14-19. I've got a 12 psi pulley but was only able to get 10 psi when I was on the dyno. I still have yet to figure it out what is wrong with that but I do want to monitor the boost and not have to worry about trying to calculate the right percentage.

What map sensor are u using? Serial gauge software needs specific map sensor calcs to work right.
