Thumbs down Getting engine back. What should I be replacing?

My engine decided to grenade itself and I sent it in to get built. 9.6:1 comp will be running around 12-15 p.s.i. boost. SS valves and springs. I know that I need:

Spark plugs. I was suffering from detonation and didn't catch it in time. Plug exploded in the cylinder when I was passing a semi on the freeway . Running FI I know that I should have NGK's in there. But what ones? Part# would be great.

Was running e-manage blue... I know dumb.... I plan on at least going to the ultimate version.

My HP goal is 400 tops (don't wanna get into too much trouble).

Tuned... Need a location that can tune with e-manage. I live in Cedar Falls, Iowa. There isn't one to be found around here. This is by far my 1st priority. I was hoping not to have to drive to Chicago on my current tune with the rebuilt engine. seems kind of far and I'm not great with big city driving. I was hoping for a place within a few hours of Cedar Falls. It was tuned for stock compression before. I'm not sure how much of a difference that is going to make.

Thanks in advance for your suggestions,

Josh

For boost sparkplugs the BKR8EIX (or very similar name) seems to be the common choice. I am running them and many others are.

You're going to need either a K-pro or AEM and you DON'T want to drive around without it tuned.

Get rid of the St-Stl exhaust valves and get Inconel, make sure the springs come with new retainers and you may want to get new valve guides also.

Ok one last question since everyone is insisting AEM. Which one should I be using. Is the series 1 acceptable? And why is it around $1k to buy the 30-1052 used when you can get the next-gen (30-6052) new for a few hundred more? I am assuming that they aren't for sale because they work? Anyone that is willing to sell me a used working one would be most helpful.

I like K-pro better myself, but it's more expensive.

Getting the head back on Tuesday and bottom end on Wednesday. Hope to install the AEM 1052 during that time. I got the bare AEM from another member on here. Is there anything that it needs to be installed ex mounting brackets or does it fit in the stock location?
